To live in harmony with rough and wild nature, to understand that everything comes from the soil and from the permanent attention that this brings, this is Jean Gardiés philosophy.
It is this requirement of every moment, maintained by the passion of our work, which makes it possible to produce delicate wines which are the expression of their terroir.
Nestling in the foot-hills of Corbières, the black schists of ESPIRA DE L’AGLY mixed with the scrubland’s limestones gives this a part of the Domaine’s soil its typical finesse.
Swept by the Mediterranean winds, this complex terroir gives all its power and tipicity to Domaine Gardiés’ wines.
VINGRAU – Family’s Gardiés original land – The old vines of Grenache and Carignan, positioned against the cliffs, open out on a clay and limestones soil to give their signature to the great vintages of the estate.
The plots of the Génégals soil, located on the heights of Vingrau, are the place of predilection of our white vines and bring balance and freshness to our red wines.
